WINGS INDIA 2022 Set to Fly
Following the success of Wings India 2020, the Ministry of Civil Aviation the Government of India in partnership with Airports Authority of India (AAI) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) is organizing WINGS INDIA 2022, touted to be Asia’s largest event on civil aviation. The show will be held from March 24-27, 2022 at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad, India.
Speaking about the show, Shri Jyotiraditya M Scindia, Hon’ble Minister of Civil Aviation said that Wings India 2022 epitomized Government of India’s commitment to transform India into a major civil aviation hub. Organizing the event will bode well for the aviation industry in terms of investment and business acquisition opportunities and in the process creating jobs.
Supporting Scindia’s views, Dr V K Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways, Government of India said that India is all set to play a dominant role globally in civil aviation and thus the sector cannot be overlooked. WINGS INDIA 2022 will provide a congenial forum catering to the rapidly changing dynamics of the sector.
Over 125 foreign and domestic exhibitors have expressed interest to participate with 11 hospitality chalets, 15 country delegations and 25 states and union territories. A team from the Indian Air Force will be participating in aerobics. A preparatory meeting for WINGS INDIA 2022 was held. It was attended by Usha Padhee, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation at Begumpet Airport along with officials from the Telangana government, AAI, and FICCI.
