WINGS India 2022
Following the success of WINGS 2020, the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India along with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) organized WINGS India 2022, Asia’s largest event on civil aviation (commercial, general and business aviation). Under a new theme – “India@75: New Horizon for Aviation Industry”, the event was held from March 24-27, 2022, at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad, India.
The show attracted participation from more than 125 exhibitors. These included aircraft and helicopter manufacturers, aircraft interiors, aircraft machinery and equipment companies, airport infrastructure companies, drones, skill development, space industry, airlines, airline services and cargo companies participated in the exhibition.
India’s civil aviation is one of the fastest growing markets globally and is seen as a major growth engine to make the country a $5 trillion economy. The exhibition organized in this backdrop is seen as a major propeller to achieve this vision.
