UFI Launches Asia Pacific Week
UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, has announced an adapted format for its Asia-Pacific Conference 2022. UFI is launching its first ever UFI Asia-Pacific Week from March 28-April 1, 2022, enabling all UFI members and industrial professionals in Asia to connect together, face-to-face. The event series will take place across Asia and will be a fresh break from the โdigital onlyโ events.
The UFI team in Hong Kong is working closely with UFI ambassadors from China, India, Thailand, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Japan, among others.
According to Mark Cochrane, Regional Director, Asia-Pacific, UFI the event will bring members and industry professionals together for networking and knowledge exchange. The industry has been unable to meet in-person since 2019 due to the pandemic outbreak and this event would perhaps help in encouraging communities to gather locally, once again.
Lending support to Cochraneโs views, Kai Hattendorf, CEO & Managing Director, UFI says that keeping communities engaged and connected is certainly a challenge, but we are ready to meet the challenges and hence this event. Through UFI Ambassadors, participants can network and debate upon key issues facing which are bringing change in the exhibition and events industry in Asia and the world.
