Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) and the Emirates News Agency (WAM) will organize the first edition of the Global Media Congress in Abu Dhabi from November 15 - 17, 2022. Launching the event, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs said, “The UAE is a global host and an efficient platform for the media sector because of its integrated digital infrastructure. It also has a supportive legal and legislative environment, as well as attractive living standards for all nationalities and international companies in the media and cultural industries.”

Overall, the event will feature a press conference and an exhibition which will help the media to discuss partnership and cooperation agreements. A large contingent of the media, policymakers, academics and students are expected to congregate for the event. Current trends such as digital communication, artificial intelligence, advance technologies and innovations in the media sector will be key topics in focus at the congress.

The event will also be a launch platform for various companies interested in engaging with the media markets in the Gulf, Middle East, and North African regions.
