The Hindu Education Plus Career Fair 2022 Concludes Successfully
The 15th edition of The Hindu Education Plus Career Fair 2022 concluded successfully. The two-day expo provided guidance to students who wished to pursue higher education in India and abroad, as well as new career opportunities. Inaugurating the fair, S Gowri, Vice-Chancellor, University of Madras, stated that students must have perseverance and the ability to switch career paths in order to strive for the better.
He said that students must overcome obstacles to have a successful career and praised the Fair, stating that it assists students in identifying their capabilities and aspirations as well as honing their skills. In addition, he lauded the free English proficiency test for students and asserted that counseling assists them in making the best decision.
About forty universities and colleges from various parts of the country, including Bengaluru, financial institutions, and Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, set up stalls. In addition, Minister of School Education Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi also attended the fair. Students and parents met with representatives from engineering, law, hotel management, and other institutes and attended sessions on emerging careers hosted by eminent educationists. The first day focused on βWhat next after NEETβ and Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission procedures. The second day covered emerging careers in AI, liberal arts, hospitality, and post-pandemic education.
