IEIA Open Seminar & Expo 2019 held at India Expo Centre & Mart. Greater Noida
The 9th edition of IEIA Open Seminar was held successfully at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida from July, 13 - 15, 2019 and was attended by several national and international exhibition professionals from across the globe. The seminar welcomed more than 500 delegates from 25 plus international countries who marked their presence, bringing together the Indian and global exhibition industry fraternity under one roof. The event was supported by many global associations, including UFI, IAEE, AFECA, SISO, UBRAFE, AEFI, AFE, IELA, CENTREX, AUMA, SBE and several more. Being one of India's biggest MICE Industry events, the 9th edition of IEIA proved to be an ideal platform and opened all doors of opportunities for the Indian exhibition industry players to connect with each other and build relationships.
The Indian Exhibition Industry Study Report' 2019, initiated by Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA) with EAC as knowledge partner was also unveiled by the dignitaries present at the inaugural session. Another important highlight of the event was the signing of 5 international Reciprocity agreements by IEIA with AKEI, PACEOS, SLAPCEO, AMPROFEC and MACEOS. Through this collaborations, IEIA aimed at strengthening the cross border trade among members of all partner associations.
At the event, more than 50 eminent speakers shared their experience and expertise in the exhibition industry through panel discussions and presentations, and were highly applauded by the audience.
During the event, the Graduation Ceremony of 4th Certified in Exhibition Management™ (CEM) India Batch was also held. Candidates were awarded certificates for earning their CEM designation post completion of all the 8 modules in 2018.
5 International Board Meetings organised at the beginning of the seminar on 13th June 2019, brought in greater synergies through the interactions that took place during these meetings, including- IEIA’s International Partner Associations Meeting (attended by representatives of 16 international associations), AFECA Board Meeting, BRICS & Emerging Markets MICE Cooperation Forum Meeting and IAEE India Chapter Meeting and IEIA Executive Committee Meeting.
