Taiwan Expo India 2023 Spurs US$75 Million in Business Interactions
Taiwan Expo India 2023, organized by the International Trade Administration (TITA) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), concluded its 6th edition after three days of business meetings, displays, and networking at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.
Around 15,000 entrepreneurs, SME owners, and city patrons attended the event, creating approximately US$ 75 million in new opportunities. The Expo, titled โExplore Taiwan in Indiaโ, was inaugurated by James CF Huang, Chairman, TAITRA, and Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Maharashtra.
The Expo comprised six themes and seven pavilions displaying Smart Manufacturing, Smart City, Smart Medical, Smart Agriculture, Smart Lifestyle, and Electric Vehicles. The expo utilized three Indian influencers to interact with exhibitors and create unboxing films to raise awareness and value of Taiwanese products in India.
The large rise in visitors and commercial opportunities this year highlights Indiaโs excellent business prospects. With 15 successful events in 11 cities across seven countries, Taiwan Expo has become a leading venue for Taiwanese enterprises to explore new prospects, share ideas, and develop collaborations across ASEAN.
