Surajkund Mela - a Celebration of Indian Cultural Heritage
The annual Surajkund International Crafts Mela is open from March 19-April 4, 2022, in Faridabad. The show in its 35th edition organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of Haryana in partnership with the Surajkund Mela Authority was inaugurated on March 19 by Shri Bandaru Dattatraya, Governor of Haryana and Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, Chief Minister, Haryana.
The one of its kind international artisan fair held in Surajkund, Haryana provides an apt platform for artists from across the world to demonstrate their culture and creativity. Artists from 20+ countries, including from South Asia, Africa and Europe are participating in the show. According to Haryana tourism ministry the festival has come to occupy a place of pride and prominence on the international tourism calendar for its display of crafts, culture, and cuisine of India in aesthetically created ambience.
