ACMEE 2021 is all set to hold its machine tools exhibition at the Chennai Trade Centre in Chennai. While the physical show will happen from December 9-13, 2021, the online version will take place from December 9-20, 2021. With Smart Manufacturing as its theme, the 14th edition of the UFI approved ACMEE organized by Ambattur Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association with “Smart Manufacturing” as its theme will showcase innovations and trends from the machine tool industry. The event which was originally scheduled for June 2020 was postponed twice, first to June 2021 and thereafter to December 2021, due to the pandemic situation.

The event has got good response from industry stakeholders with 376 participants confirming their participation. Overall, the show will span an area of over 18,000 sq mt including exhibition halls 1, 2 and 3, convention centre and four temporary structures. The last edition of ACMEE in June 2018 had generated business worth INR 350 crore and the event organizers are looking to surpass that figure with this edition.
