Railways Special Package for Darjeeling Ghum Festival
Indian Railways have announced a special package for travelers visiting the Ghum Festival in Darjeeling, organized by UNESCO World Heritage and Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, from November 13 to December 5, 2021. Amazing joy rides amidst lush green terrains and weekly fun events are being offered as part of the package. Tourists will enjoy exploring the Darjeeling β Ghum section, Red Panda special train rides on Kurseong β Mahanadi section, Jungle Tea Safari rides on Siliguri β Rongtong section, and passenger train journeys between NJP and Darjeeling.
Sunrise and sunset viewing at Tiger Hill Point, enjoying local bands, trekathon, karaoke, mountain biking, tea garden tours, stand-up comedy, folk dance performances, visit art exhibitions, handicrafts, and clothing stalls, are also offered as part of the tourist package.
