Promoting Clean Mobility in Pune
The Alternate Fuel Conclave (AFC), jointly organized by Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) and the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) from April 2-5, 2022, at Sinchan Nagar Ground in Shivajinagar, Pune, aims to promote clean mobility.
Shri Aaditya Thackeray, Honβble Minister for Environment and Tourism, Government of Maharashtra inaugurated the conclave on April 2. Thackeray called upon stakeholders to explore environment-friendly transport options. He said that electric vehicles are the future as they are eco-friendly, sustainable and can save people from increasing petrol and diesel prices. Industry stakeholders can share knowledge on clean mobility and network with potential investors in alternate fuel technology segment.
Automobile majors such as Tata Motors, Mahindra, Volkswagen, and many other established companies are exhibiting their two-wheelers, three wheelers, cars, cargo vehicles and electric buses. Companies are also showcasing their R&D in electric vehicle segments, hydro, and biofuels.
