PDA Ventures, VAFIE, and VietFair all Set to Host an FDI Forum and Exhibition in Vietnam in 2023
Tran Duy Dong, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment, Vietnam met Pradeep Deviah, Chairman & CEO, PDA Ventures lately. Deviah discussed about the coordination between PDA Ventures, Vietnamese Association of Foreign Invested Enterprises (VAFIE), and VietFair in organizing an international forum and exhibition on foreign direct investment (FDI) in Vietnam in the first quarter of 2023.
The forum and expo will promote Vietnam as an investment destination, promote partnerships, share experiences, establish joint ventures, and attract FDI. It will also foster trade potential between Vietnam, India, and other countries. Through the conference, foreign firms will learn about Vietnam’s investment policies and environment, and more investors will be interested in expanding their operations.
Deputy Minister Dong emphasized that India’s investment in Vietnam is insufficient in comparison to the potential for co-operation between the two countries, including investment and export-import, and there is still room to expand Vietnam-India cooperation in the future.
The Minister also praised the plan to hold the forum and expo, noting that 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-India diplomatic relations. He urged PDA Ventures and partners to speed up procedures for the two events and promote Vietnam’s potential.
