BolognaFiere Group and Informa Markets, the organizers of Personal Care Ingredients & Lab (PCIL) and Cosmoprof India, an event dedicated to raw materials, ingredients, and lab equipment for the beauty industry, have announced the dates for the show at a new location. 

PCIL India will now take place from December 9 - 11, 2021 at Jio World Centre in Mumbai. The organizers had decided to postpone the first edition of the show keeping in view the pandemic conditions and prioritizing the safety and health of stakeholders and exhibitors. 

Speaking about the postponement of the show and selection of a new venue, Gianpiero Calzolari, President, BolognaFiere said, “We are monitoring constantly the evolution of COVID-19 in India, and in accordance with local regulations we decided to postpone Cosmoprof India to December 2021. Jio World Centre Mumbai, our new venue, will add value to the trade show, and we are honoured to be the first beauty trade show to be hosted in their amazing spaces. This is our best way to support the beauty industry in India, promoting its resilience and its commitment for a new restart.”

Rescheduling the show to the end of the year at Jio World Centre will allow enough time for normality and confidence to return to the marketplace. Over the coming months, the increased availability of vaccines will also relax travel restrictions and provide better and safe conditions for exhibitors and visitors to participate.”
