New Delhi World Book Fair 2022 as In-Person Event
The National Book Trust under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, will hold the 30th edition of the New Delhi World Book Fair (NDWBF) from January 8-16, 2022, as an in-person event in the newly constructed halls at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
The exhibition themed, โAzadi ka Amrit Mahotsavโ, is being held when India is celebrating 75 years of independence. The book fair will feature various panel discussions, book and photo exhibitions, book releases and discussions at the theme pavilion.
The annual exhibition is one of the largest book events in Afro-Asian region and enjoys a high reputation among international publishing communities.
Organized since 1972, the New Delhi World Book Fair is completing 50 years journey as India celebrates 75 years of independence from the British. With France being the guest country, book lovers will enjoy literature of France and many other countries at the foreign pavilion.
The NDWBF organizes a number of literary and cultural programmes during the book fair, which include authorโs corners, seminars, discussions, workshops, and so on. In addition, there will be the B2B forums, viz. CEO Speak and New Delhi Rights Table, where publishers from across the world exchange translation rights and other business deals related to publishing.
