Naval Exhibition Showcases Innovations and Indigenization
The Indian Navy lately organized an exhibition to showcase its ongoing innovations, indigenization and operations aligning with Indiaβs fight against the pandemic in Kochi, Kerala. Shri Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister, Govt of India was the Chief Guest. He also visited the Southern Naval Command in Kochi to review the construction work of indigenous aircraft carrier.
They key attractions were the Oxygen Recycling System, which is under clinical trial at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Navrakshak PPE and masks which are being used in PM Care hospitals and Remote Patient Monitoring System, etc. All these have provided affordable, effective, and user-friendly medical solutions.
Singh interacted with Veer Kashyap, a student at the Navy Children School in Kochi who won the Pradhan Mantri Bal Puraskar award for developing Corona Yuga, an innovative board game for educating and creating awareness about coronavirus.
