On February 3, 2025, the Moscow City Tourism Committee hosted an exclusive gala dinner in New Delhi, bringing together over 170 influential stakeholders, including key associations such as the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), the Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI), the Network of Indian MICE Agents (NIMA), as well as MICE agencies, tour operators, travel agents, government officials, and media representatives.
The event highlighted the strengthening partnership between India and Moscow in both the tourism and business sectors, with a particular focus on Moscow’s strategic emphasis on the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry.
The Moscow City Tourism Committee reaffirmed its commitment to fostering the growth of India’s MICE sector and enhancing bilateral ties through continued engagements and collaborations.
Himanshu Patil, President of OTOAI, added, “Moscow is a safe and culturally vibrant destination. With the simplified visa process, we anticipate a significant increase in travel interest from India to Moscow. We expect 2025 to be a prosperous year for India’s outbound travel market to this dynamic city, and at OTOAI, we are eager to support and nurture this growth.”
