Industry Update!!
Lucknow, the state capital is set to get an International Convention and Exhibition Centre (ICEC) under the Avadh Vihar Yojana. The ICEC will be built over 1.32 lakh square meters with a capacity to host 10,000 people. It will feature four exhibition halls and an auditorium seating 2,500 attendees, generating employment and business growth. The state planning department has prepared a blueprint and initiated construction preparations. On completion of the centre, it will be included in those places of the country which will become a medium for successfully hosting big national and international events in future.
The project has a completion deadline of 18 months. A total of βΉ1058.22 crore (excluding GST) will be spent on the project. The construction will adhere to high-quality and global standards.
The centre will include state-of-the-art amenities and smart infrastructure. It will be equipped with a modern audio-visual and digital public address system. A 300-kilowatt solar power station is also planned to support sustainability.
