INDIAWOOD 2022 is Set to Create New Benchmark
The 12th edition of INDIAWOOD, scheduled to take place from June 2-6, 2022, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), organized by NuernbergMesse India, will once again solidify its position as the most relevant and important forum for the Indian woodworking and furniture manufacturing industries. The event will feature country pavilions from Germany, USA, Canada, Turkey, Malaysia, Finland, Estonia, Taiwan, and Gabon, among others, and will offer a comprehensive range of innovative products as well as information on the most recent technological developments.
The event aims to drive the Indian furniture manufacturing and woodworking industry and establish India as one of the top manufacturing destinations in the region by focusing on the latest trends in carpentry, skilling, innovation, automation, and digitalization. The event is expected to draw a record number of visitors, with a total area of 65,000 sq mt and five dedicated themed halls.
Furniture manufacturers, kitchen manufacturers, saw millers, board manufacturers, fittings and component manufacturers, traders, architects, builders, and interior designers can expect to see the latest technologies, materials, and innovations. INDIAWOOD will feature seminars on the latest trends and innovations, as well as skill development programs organized by the Furniture & Fittings Skill Council of India.
The one-day conference βWood in Architecture and Design (WAD)β will be held on June 3, 2022, to explore the versatility, durability, and application of wood in architecture and design. Attendees include architects, structural engineers, designers, and mass-timber manufacturers. Renowned experts will present case studies and discuss the use of wood as a construction material.
