Indian Wine Industry at London Wine Fair
Indiaβs wine industry has confirmed its participation in the upcoming London Wine Fair, organized by the Hemming Group from June 7-9, 2022, in live and digital formats. The decision to participate in the event happened after a recent meeting between senior officials of the All-India Wine Producers Association (AIWPA) and Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) in Nasik.
Dr M Angamuthu, Chairman, APEDA said that his organization will participate in all big global trade platforms like London Wine Fair or the Hong Kong Wine Fair to stabilize its products. According to Angamuthu the Indian wine industry is evolving at a fast pace and the country is producing world renowned brands. The wine industry has to cater to a large niche market and participating in international trade fairs will enhance brand value and give a competitive edge.
