India Pavilion Showcases Prowess
Shri Om Birla, Honโble Lok Sabha Speaker, Government of India accompanied by a parliament delegation visited the India Pavilion at EXPO 2020 Dubai lately. Members of Parliament from Rajya Sabha (Indiaโs upper house in Parliament) Shri M V Shreyams Kumar, Shri Sushil Kumar Modi, Smt. Fauzia Tahseen Ahmed Khan, and Dr. M K Vishnu Prasad were part of the delegation. Members of Parliament from Lok Sabha (Indiaโs lower house in Parliament) Shri P Ravindranath, Shri Shankar Lalwani, and Dr Sujay Radhakrishna Vikhepatil were also part of the delegation.
Speaking about the India Pavilion, Shri Birla said that he was glad to note that India has made a mark for itself in the world by its innovations. He added that the India Pavilion was a culmination of all the efforts made by India and the journey covering 75 years to achieve success, prosperity and stability. He was happy to witness the record turnout of visitors at the pavilion.
