IITF 2023: SAARC Women Entrepreneurs' Creations in the Spotlight
The 42nd India International Trade Fair (IITF), organized by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) from November 14-27 at Delhi’s Pragati Maidan, will spotlight products by female entrepreneurs from Saarc countries.
Covering an expansive 1.1 lakh sq mt area, the event expects over 10 lakh visitors. The theme, ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: United by Trade’, is set to make it the largest trade fair in recent memory. Hall numbers 1-14 will host the fair, an increase in area from previous years.
The fair will include stalls from SAARC countries and feature participants from Turkey and Bahrain. Additionally, a Geographical Indications (GI) pavilion, a larger food court, and collaborations with various states are expected to enhance the experience. Bihar, Jharkhand, and Kerala are ‘Partner States’; Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Maharashtra, and Jammu & Kashmir are ‘Focus States’. The fair aims to revive the grandeur of past editions, providing a significant platform for business and culture. Business and non-business days have different ticket prices.
