IILF 2021 Rescheduled
The 2021 edition of the India International Leather Fair (IILF 2021) has been rescheduled to next year. The trade fair will now be held from February 1 - 3, 2022, at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai. India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) took the decision to reschedule the show in wake of the ongoing second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Rescheduling the show to next year gives them a break of nearly one year by which time the pandemic would perhaps be brought under control. Such a move will also ensure larger participation from stakeholders and a better business outcome.
At IILF, exhibitors from across the globe showcase their innovations and products, including a range of products relating to leather industry as well as finished goods and auxiliary products. Goods such as finished leather, shoes, shoe components, soles, heels, counters, lasts, leather garments, fashion accessories, leather goods, machinery, equipment and chemicals are showcased at the show.
IILF positions India as an investment destination and manufacturing hub in the leather sector. It showcases the advancements made by Indian leather entrepreneurs and highlights their achievements. The show is also a platform for bringing in technologies to the doorsteps of Indian manufacturers in various cities. The event also provides an opportunity for leather manufacturers to source raw materials, meet, discuss, and explore opportunities in new areas and further business for mutual benefit and growth.
