IIJS Signature 2022 Ends on High Note
The fourteenth edition of IIJS Signature 2022, organized by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) at Bombay Exhibition Centre, NESCO, Mumbai from February 18-21, 2022, was a major success. The four-day exhibition generated business worth around INR 5,000 crore.
The show was inaugurated by Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Minister of Commerce and Industry along with Shri Parshottam Rupala, Hon’ble Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying; Shri Darshana Jardosh, Hon’ble Minister of State for Railways & Textiles; Shri Gopal Shetty, Member of Parliament; and Shri Vipul Bansal, Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce.
Colin Shah, Chairman, GJEPC; Vipul Shah, Vice Chairman, GJEPC; Shailesh Sangani, Convener, National Exhibitions, GJEPC; and Sabyasachi Ray, ED, GJEPC graced the occasion.
Speaking about the exhibition Colin Shah said, “GJEPC put up IIJS Signature 2022 in a record time of just three weeks. The unequivocal success of IIJS Signature 2022 is a testament to the fundamental strength of the Indian market and economy at large.”
Supporting Colin’s views, Vipul Shah said, “The Council through its persistent efforts was able to enlist IIJS Signature 2022 trade fair under the Ministry of MSME’s ‘Procurement and Marketing Support Scheme.”
Adding to his colleagues’ views Sangani said, “We have been able to pull off yet another successful show by following all the Covid-safety protocols. This would not have been possible without the support of participants who had implicit faith in us.”
Overall, the show displayed latest trends and technologies in gold, diamond and silver jewelries and served a great platform for exhibitors’ and visitors’ interactions.
