IEIA President Mr. KV Nagendra Prasad receives the prestigious Bob Dallmeyer Educator of the year award 2019
IEIA President Mr. K V Nagendra Prasad wins distinguished IAEE Award 2019

Nagendra Prasad, CEM, COO, HITEX and President, IEIA, has been garnered the
prestigious Bob Dallmeyer Educator of the year award for 2019. The Bob
Dallmeyer Educator of the year award is presented to the members of the
International Association of Exhibitions and EventsĀ®(IAEE) for their
outstanding creativity, a positive attitude and the ability to transfer
knowledge through good communication skills and innovative teaching to promote
life-long learning in the exhibition industry.
The 2019 IAEE awardees were selected
after careful consideration and review by the IAEE Awards Committee and
approval by the IAEE Board of Directors following an open call for nominations
by IAEE members earlier in the year.
Mr. Prasad has been at the forefront
of the educative initiative taken by the Indian Exhibition Industry Association
for knowledge dissemination in the exhibition industry. Under his mentorship,
the association has successfully run the Certified in Exhibition Managementā¢
(CEM) program for the past five years and has helped several professionals in
the exhibition industry in further honing their skills and empowering the
professionals in their said domain.
Expressing his views on receiving the
award, Mr. Prasad said, āI see this award being given to IEIA for adopting the
āCertified in Exhibition Management (CEM)ā program in India and running it
successively for 5 years developing skillsets & competencies of over 130
professionals working in the Indian Exhibition industry and for creating a
platform for our fellow industry colleagues to be recognised as true
professionals of our industry in India.ā
A Mechanical Engineer and a
post-graduate in Marketing Management and CEM (Certified in Exhibition
Management) certification from IAEE, USA, Mr. Prasad, flaunts a rich experience
in the exhibition domain. He has more than 20 years of experience in sales,
marketing, business development and commercial operations in real estate,
telecom, retail and trade fairs sectors.
He has been associated with the
exhibition industry since 2002 and has juggled many responsibilities in his
career span, which involves hosting and organising trade fairs and exhibitions.
He is the Chief Operating Officer of HITEX Exhibition Center, Hyderabad, and is
responsible for the business and operations of HITEX Exhibition Center.
As the President of the Indian
Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA), Mr. Prasad participates actively in
various national and international industry forums.

The Certified in Exhibition Managementā¢
(CEM) program enabled by IEIA in reciprocity agreement with the International
Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), provides the exhibition industry
professionals a holistic knowledge about the industry and prepares them for the
journey ahead.
The course does not only help them in
mastering their expertise but also gain structural and positive approach
towards the challenges thrown at them.
The Certified in Exhibition
Managementā¢ (CEM) program has the credit of being a globally recognized
designation, which not only demonstrates the highest professional standard
throughout the exhibition and event management arena but is also inclined
towards raising the professional standards in the event industry. The course
module accommodates short and long-term career goals with the education that
can be tailored to meet specific needs and interests.
The Certified in Exhibition
Managementā¢ designation is obtained after the completion of eight courses
offered in the classroom and on-site formats.
