PM Modi inaugurates Bharat Mandapam, IECC Complex, New Delhi
Recently, Honโble Prime Minister Narendra Modi graced the inaugural ceremony of the International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) Complex at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. With a significant cost of INR 2,500 crore, the sprawling complex covers an area of 2,46,000 sq mt and aims to emerge as a world-class venue for hosting trade shows, exhibitions, and conventions.
During the event, PM, Modi emphasized the IECC Complex's role in bolstering India's trade and economy and highlighted the importance of such modern infrastructure in attracting global exhibitions and events, further elevating India's status on the international platform.
The state-of-the-art IECC Complex encompasses four exhibition halls, an iconic tower, food courts, and underground parking to accommodate approximately 4,800 vehicles. With its advanced facilities and seamless connectivity, the complex is set to redefine India's exhibition landscape and showcase the country's economic prowess and rich cultural heritage on a global scale.
PM, Modi stressed on big targets to be achieved by saying โIndia is moving ahead with the principle of โThink Big, Dream Big, Act Bigโ. We are creating bigger, better and faster.โ
