Hannover Messe to focus on Digitalization and Decarbonization
After a gap of two years due to the global pandemic outbreak Hannover Messe is back in 2022 as a physical exhibition. In the new format, the exhibition will also feature a comprehensive range of digital services for exhibitors and visitors. Hannover Messe 2022 themed on “Industrial Transformation” will focus on digitalization and decarbonization.
Stressing about the importance of in-person events, Dr Jochen Köckler, CEO, Deutsche Messe AG said that the developments in the recent months have revealed that digital formats cannot be a permanent replacement for a real trade fair. Hannover 2022 in April next year will further strengthen this argument with industry stakeholders expected to throng the exhibition in a big way to source solutions for their production processes.
Exhibitors will be showcasing new technologies and services that would significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions of industrial companies. Companies from energy sector will be presenting more on how industries can reduce carbon footprints. Finally, the world will be back to the future of industrial production as Hannover Messe 2022 gets underway.
