French Minister Inaugurates MILIPOL Exhibition in India
MILIPOL India was inaugurated at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi at the hands of Sabrina Agresti-Roubache, Minister Delegate for Citizenship and Urban Development in France, who stressed its significance in promoting homeland security collaboration between New Delhi and Paris.
This three-day event was a new addition to the Milipol International Network, focusing on internal security. The exhibition, co-organized by Inter Ads Exhibition Pvt Ltd, India, and Comexposium, France, with backing from the Ministries of the Interior, Home Affairs, and External Affairs of both nations, promoted Indo-French collaboration.
The exhibition's impact on the dynamic security industry, according to the French minister, helped address worldwide security issues. She noted that 95 percent of the exhibitors were Indian businesspeople. With over 150 national and international exhibitors, MILIPOL India attracted Canada, USA, France, UAE, Belgium, Brazil, Vietnam, and others to showcase cutting-edge technology and developments.
The parallel three-day seminar featured Delhi Police, Nepal Armed Police Force, and the High French Institute of Security Research, presenting insights into current security issues and solutions.
