Fifth Edition of RenewX Concludes Successfully

The 5th edition of RenewX, a two-day trade expo on showcasing developments in the renewable energy space organized by Informa Markets in India from November 19 - 20 in HITEX, Hyderabad concluded successfully.  
The show was inaugurated by Shri G Raghuma Reddy, Chairman & Managing Director, Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd; Dr Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner, Hyderabad; Bhagyathej Reddy, Director Power & Utilities, PwC; Shri Ajay Mishra, IAS, Former Special Chief Secretary, Energy Department, Government of Telangana and Shri N Janaiah, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, TSREDCO. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India and Rajneesh Khattar, Group Director, Energy Portfolio, Informa Markets in India, and industry experts from the South Indian renewable energy sector were present at the show.   

The two-day expo had participation from 117 exhibitors and attracted a footfall of 4,311 business visitors. 
Speaking on the successful conclusion of the 5th edition of RenewX in Hyderabad, Mudras said, “We are extremely glad, to have successfully concluded RenewX, our much-awaited expo in South India in the renewable energy space. It’s about time India moved to renewable ways to feed its population its fair share of electricity.”
One successful outcome from the event is that United Kingdom is investing $1.2 billion in India’s renewable energy sector over the next five years. India and United Kingdom have emerged as natural financial partners in electric vehicles, charging infrastructure and green hydrogen and offshore wind domains. Telangana policies for electric vehicles has attracted interests from three UK and two US companies for setting up manufacturing units.
RenewX once again presented insights through its two days power packed conference under the theme ‘South India Energy Conclave’. Participants discussed a vast array of new innovations and technologies.
