Delhi Jewellery and Gem Fair, a Remarkable Success
Delhi Jewellery and Gem Fair (DJGF), organized by Informa Markets in India at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from October 2 - 4, 2021, has been a hit.
The show was inaugurated in the presence of Shri Satyendra Jain, Honโble Member of Delhi Legislative Assembly along with key dignitaries that included Shri Dushyant Chautala, Honโble Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana, PK Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Delhi, Ashish Phete, Chairman, All India Gems and Jewellery Domestic Council and Partner - Waman Hari Pethe Jewellers, Yogesh Singhal, President TBJA, Delhi, Mahendra Tayal, President HJMA and Pallavi Mehra, Group Director, Informa Markets in India.
Speaking at the inauguration, Shri Chautala said, โSuch an event will help hundreds of exhibitors from North India. The Indian jewellery and gems industry has made a notable mark and the government has supported in the promotion of this industry.โ
Shri Jain said, โOur approach would be to highlight the importance of increasing value of jewellery, its endorsement and how it needs to be preserved. The Indian jewellery and gems industry contributes 4-7.5 percent to the GDP and 14 percent to the export trade of the country.โ
