CII Packaging Expo & Conference for a Viable Ecosystem
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is hosting an online exhibition and knowledge sharing platform ‘the Packaging Expo and Conference’ from May 18-25, 2021.
Packaging sector is set to undergo a major overhaul and in line with global trends, the sector is expected to grow steadily in India. Businesses have immense scope to expand their footprint in domestic and international arenas.
Packaging sector is also likely to play an important role in India’s growth since the country’s is all set to become the fifth-largest consumer market in the world by 2025. However, like many other sectors, packaging sector too has its own fair share of challenges and finding effective solutions will help the sector chart out a new growth story.
CII which has always kept itself in the forefront in initiating industry reforms and working diligently with stakeholders is organizing this digital initiative to foster partnerships and strive towards creating sustainable business and operational models.
The event will cover various aspects of the packaging ecosystem such as the need and impact of anti-dumping regulations and tariff barriers on imports and processing, sustainability and innovations in recycling among other topics. The expo will feature a virtual trade fair and a digital conference with participation from leading players in the packaging sector.
The expo and conference is supported by is Tinplate Corporation of India, Aquachill, Sigma Capseal, EPL and UFlex, Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) and Plastics Machinery Manufacturers Association of India.
