CII Chandigarh Fair Celebrates Silver Jubilee
After a prolonged two yearsβ Covid induced gap, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) held the CII Chandigarh Fair 2022 from October 14-17 in Chandigarh. The trade fair which celebrated its silver jubilee edition witnessed participation of 281 exhibitors from 40 cities across India.
Shri Banwarilal Purohit, Governor, Government of Punjab inaugurated the trade fair. The fair featured 10 concurrent expos which included Home Decor, Realcon (Real Estate), Haute Couture, Persona, Kitchen Central and International Arcade, among others.
Visitors at the show had various options to choose from the craftsmanship of several state artists from Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, and Uttarakhand who displayed their products at the fair. A special display of onyx decorations was a major attraction. Sourced from Afghanistan, each piece was carved from one single block of onyx stone.
Expressing his happiness on the success of the show, Mohammed Shaukat Ali, Sales Manager, Khadmat Group said that for his company the maximum sales come from participating in big expos like the CII Chandigarh Fair and the recent show provided it an opportunity to have face-to-face interactions with customers based in North India. Prashant AN, Northern Region Regional Director, CII said that festivities and celebrations which had halted due to the pandemic had come back.
