The sixth edition of the Bengal Global Business Summit was organized by West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation Ltd on April 20-21, 2022 to showcase the world that Bengal means business. The summit was hosted after a hiatus of two years due to the Covid pandemic. Business tycoon Gautam Adani committed to INR 10,000 crore investments in the state over the next decade for developing port infrastructure, data centres, undersea cables, centres of excellence in digital innovation, logistics parks, etc. Many other leading private companies such as Jindal, Hindustan Unilever, Tata Steel, etc. to name a few also announced major investments in different sectors. Foreign delegates from Japan and UK also announced their interests to invest in the state. 

The sixth edition of BGBS had the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as its business partners and KPMG, EY, PWC and CRISIL as its knowledge partners.
