Best of India Showcases Indian Products
The 8th edition of Best of India show presents Indian products at Baku Sport Hall. It was inaugurated by H.E. B. Vanlalvawna, Ambassador of India to Azerbaijan, H.E. Firdovsi Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Sanjeev Dhir, Chairman, Wool and Woollens Export Promotion Council (WWEPC) on March 26, 2022.
In his opening address Ambassador Vanlalvawna spoke about the need for more closer economic and trade engagements between India and Azerbaijan. He said that it was encouraging to note that despite the global pandemic, trade links between India and Azerbaijan improved by 27 percent in 2021.
Minister Aliyev said that the mutual trust between the two countries offers immense scope for development and establishing deeper business links in every sphere of activities.
The exhibition which will conclude on April 3 is expected to witness more than 60 companies from India showcasing high quality products and services such as rice, tea, spices, gifts and handicrafts, home furnishing, textile and garments, jewellery, cosmetics, and many more.
