A Positive Stroke Set In βStoneβ
The 11th edition of India Stonemart 2022, was held from November 10-13, 2022, at the Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Center, Rajasthan. The event was co-organized by Centre for Development of Stones (CDOS) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and supported by the Government of Rajasthan. The show exhibited the world of natural dimensional stones, ancillary products, and services and brought together various stakeholders β consumers, importers, buyers, technology providers, architects, builders, developers, and others.
Spread across an exhibition area of 13,832 sq mt, the show received participation from more than 30,000 visitors. Around 1,400 B2B meetings were conducted. Foreign attendance was seen from 52 countries - Algeria, Albania, Austria, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, Botswana, Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt, Germany, Ghana Greece, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Oman, Palestine, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Tanzania, Turkey, UAE, Uganda, United Kingdom & United States of America.
The exhibition generated business and trade inquiries of more than INR 1,200 crore. In addition, there were 348 exhibitors and three country pavilions of Iran, Portugal, and Turkey. In this context, Shivprasad Nakate, Managing Director, Rajasthan State Industrial Development, and Investment Corporation (RIICO), said, βThe immense participation will result in new technology tie-ups, the adoption of new technologies in mining, processing, and much more.β
